IN THE HOUSE OF PLENTY

John Patrick Shanley’s profoundly moving and surreal story about an Irish-American family at war with itself; seen through the eyes of Johnny/John Shanley... The play opens when Johnny is 5 years old and passes through his late-teens only to end up confronting his demons as a 40 year old man.

Beggars being set in three different periods; the costumes had to reflect the period, aging of  each character and accommodate their quick changes. Green was primary color for some of the costumes since we are looking at Irish-American family.
